Harrison, Benjamin  (1833 – 1901)
American Politician. Born in North Bend, Ohio. Senator from Indiana and 23rd President of the U.S. from 1889-93. Grandson of President William Henry Harrison. Elected as a Republican to the United States Senate and served from March 4, 1881, to March 3, 1887. Elected President of the United States in 1888; inaugurated on March 4, 1889, and served until March 3, 1893. Died March 13, 1901.
