Joachim, Joseph  (1831 – 1907)
Hungarian Violinist and Composer. Born in Kittsee, near Pressburg (Austria-Hungary). He made his public debut at age 7 and had great success in London under the sponsorship of Mendelssohn in 1844. He was especially known for his interpretations of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven.
