Tennyson, Alfred, Baron  (1809 – 1892)
English Poet. Born at Somersby, Lincolnshire, England. His first famous work was Poems by Two Brothers (1827). He later secured his position among great poets with Morte d'Arthur, Ulysses, Locksley Hall and The Vision of Sin.
