Verdi, Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco  (1813 – 1901)
Italian Composer. Born in Le Roncole, Duchy of Parma. He and Richard Wagner are credited with developing Opera into a fully integrated art form. Some of his works include Oberto (1839), Don Carlos (1867), Otello (1867) and Falstaff (1893).
