Victoria, Queen of Great Britain  (1819 – 1892)
English Monarch 1837-1904. Born in Kensington Palace in London, England. Her first years as queen passed under the guidance of Lord Melbourne who was the prime minister. At the time of her death she was recognized as a symbol a new type of British monarchy, one that included a unified empire.
